Orosi Tour in Costa Rica

We will pick up the client from their hotel at 8:30 a.m. and bring them directly to our office located in San Antonio de Escazu.  Here you will be presented with the Harley Davidson Road Kings, 2005 model.  You will be given all you need in preparation for your trip. Our guides will explain how to drive on the roads of Costa Rica; the motorcycles will have been prepared with a full tank of gas, two helmets and rain jackets.

We will begin our journey taking a route through the Cartago province by way of Rancho Redondo where we will be able to enjoy a rural passage, dairy farms, friendly local people and beautiful views of the mountains.  We will make a stop on the road to enjoy a delicious, traditional breakfast.  As we enter Cartago (the first capital of Costa Rica), we will see a handful of buildings that exhibit traditional architecture and styles different of that found in San Jose.  This includes la Basilica de los Angeles, one of the most traditional churches which is known for its beauty and is the object of a yearly pilgrimage in which virtually the whole country recognizes every 2nd of August.

After seeing this place we will continue on a road that will lead us to the Valle de Orosi through mountains with beautiful forests and sections of huge coffee plantations. We will also see one of the most impressive rivers in the country, Rio Reventazon.  Once we arrive in Valle de Orosi we will visit the colonial church and museum as well as the ruins of Ujarras. These are some of the most characteristically colonial sites in all of Costa Rica. 

We will then eat lunch and head to the city of Turrialba, famous for its sugar cane plantations.  The sugar is used primarily for the production of sugar alcohol and liquors such as Guaro and rum.

We are going to pass around the Cachi Lagoon, to return to San Jose on the Florencio del Castillo highway.  Once we have arrived in the capitol we will take the Circunvalacion highway to arrive in San Antonio de Escazu and to end our day trip.
